COLOMBIA

Colombie Travel is a Colombia DMC and local tour operator founded in 2022 and based in Boyacá, with an office in Tunja and operations from Villa de Leyva. We design and run journeys across Colombia for English and French-speaking travellers and for travel agencies around the world.

Why we started

We wanted travellers to discover Colombia with the people who live it: guides who know each street, hosts who open their homes and workshops, and a team that takes responsibility for the whole journey. Boyacá, where we live, showed us how much of the country remains unseen.

Our team on the ground

Our tour leaders and guides speak English, French and Spanish and have years of experience with international travellers. They work with us, not through intermediaries, and they are present in every region where we operate.

The meaning of our frog

Our logo is a blue poison dart frog, a symbol of Colombia's biodiversity. Its legs form an arrow, for the routes that connect travellers with the country, and its shapes are drawn in the style of pre-Columbian art.

How we choose our guides

Every guide who travels with our clients speaks at least one language besides Spanish and has experience with international travellers. Our tour leaders know the regions we operate and travel with groups from the first day to the last.
